Eager My table has been confirmed for Overload 2012 (Auckland, September 22nd), NZ's comic & manga convention. I will be seated on the end at F6, straight ahead from the entrance - see below.
The last time I attended was 2010 when I shared a stall with my lovely sistard ~seraphik. I wasn't able make it to any events last year due to some personal health issues (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), so I'm especially looking forward to going this year!
I'm planning to sell a wider variety of things this time: as well as prints and posters, I'd also like to include some badges, bookmarks etc. I'll also be working toward putting together my first artbook - a mixed fandom collection from my favourite 90's RPGs.
Video games were undoubtedly what got me into art, so I'd like to pay homage to some of those old titles that influenced me the most - Suikoden, Grandia, Breath of Fire, Final Fantasy, Legend of Dragoon, Wild Arms etc. There's so little fanart for some of these around the place, I'm really looking forward to contributing to the fandom(s) in my own way. ;w; HAVING SAID ALL THAT, Overload is only four months from now and I currently work 25-30 hours a week alongside study and my other creative projects... so more than anything, I'm just going to have fun and get as much done as I can without getting stressed out about it. xD
